Say Hello to Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea is an adorable Black & Tan smooth-haired Mini Dachshund girl born to Banjo and Sunshine. With her classic Dachshund coloring and tiny features, she is already such a precious little addition to the Heritage Puppy Farm family.

Right now, Sweet Pea is still in the earliest stage of puppyhood, where most of her time is spent snuggled close to her mom and littermates, nursing, sleeping, and growing. These quiet first weeks are an important time in her development, and we love having the opportunity to watch her reach each new milestone.

As she gets a little older and becomes more aware of the world around her, we’ll begin seeing more of the individual personality behind that sweet little face.

Growing Up at Heritage Puppy Farm

We believe raising a wonderful family companion begins long before go-home day. Our puppies grow up in a family-centered environment where they receive attentive care, gentle handling, and plenty of interaction throughout their time with us.

As Sweet Pea develops, her world will gradually become bigger. She’ll have opportunities to experience everyday sounds and activities, interact with people, explore her surroundings, and enjoy positive experiences appropriate for her age.

We don’t rush these early stages. Instead, we allow our puppies to learn and develop naturally while giving them the care, attention, and experiences they need along the way.

Sweet Pea’s Take-Home Package

When the time comes for Sweet Pea to join her new family, she’ll head home with several things to help make her transition a little easier:

• A complete veterinarian health examination
• Age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming
• Health guarantee
• Enrollment in the AKC Puppy Protection Program, including microchip and limited AKC registration
• Puppy starter kit
• A blanket carrying familiar scents from her littermates
• Lifetime breeder support from Heritage Puppy Farm

The Mini Dachshund Personality

There is a lot of personality packed into a Mini Dachshund’s little frame. Dachshunds are loved for their devotion to their families, curious nature, playful personalities, and unmistakable charm. They tend to form close relationships with their people and have a way of making themselves an important part of everyday family life.

At Heritage Puppy Farm, we put careful thought into our breeding program and the way each puppy is raised. Our parent dogs are selected with consideration for health, structure, and temperament, while our puppies receive hands-on care and socialization from their earliest days.

Sweet Pea’s Story Is Just Beginning

Born on July 27, 2026, Sweet Pea still has plenty of growing and discovering ahead of her. We’re looking forward to watching her become more adventurous, seeing her personality emerge, and learning all the little things that make her uniquely Sweet Pea.

For now, this beautiful Black & Tan smooth-haired Mini Dachshund girl is exactly where she should be: tucked close to her mom and littermates, growing a little more every day and getting a wonderful start at Heritage Puppy Farm.
