To make the reservation process simple, fair, and transparent, we offer a straightforward reservation system designed to give every family a smooth and enjoyable experience. Reserving your puppy ensures that your chosen companion is held exclusively for you while we prepare them for their forever home.
How to Reserve a Puppy
If you’ve found the perfect puppy, simply contact Heritage Puppy Farm to confirm availability. Once your reservation is confirmed, we’ll provide you with the necessary information to secure your puppy. Our team is always happy to answer any questions before you complete your reservation.
Reservation Deposit
A reservation deposit is required to hold your selected puppy. Once your reservation has been confirmed, your puppy will be marked as Reserved, allowing you to prepare for your newest family member while we continue providing the highest level of care until pickup day.
We completely understand that you would like to visit and meet the puppy before making a final decision. However, we require a *refundable reservation/down-payment deposit before scheduling farm visits*. This policy is in place for practical reasons and applies to visitors who intend to reserve or purchase a puppy.
The deposit helps us:
Reserve the puppy and remove it from active availability so that another family does not purchase it while you are arranging your visit.
Cover preparation and scheduling costs: including preparing the puppy, arranging staff availability, cleaning the visiting area, and coordinating the appointment.
Reduce unnecessary or casual visits: As a working breeding facility, we receive serious inquiries as well as people who simply want to look around. The deposit helps ensure that scheduled visits are from genuinely interested buyers.
Protect the welfare of our puppies: Limiting unnecessary foot traffic and repeated handling helps reduce stress and lowers the risk of exposing young puppies to outside pathogens.
Maintain a controlled visiting schedule: We cannot have unrestricted visitors arriving at the farm because our priority is the health, safety, and routine of the dogs and puppies.
Demonstrate commitment from both sides: We are committing time and resources to preparing for your visit, while the deposit demonstrates that the prospective buyer is serious about the puppy.
Protect against last-minute cancellations and no-shows: which can prevent us from offering the puppy to another genuinely interested family.
100% Refundable Deposit
We want to make it absolutely clear that the deposit is 100% refundable if, after meeting the puppy in person, you decide that you are not satisfied with the puppy or are no longer interested in proceeding with the purchase.
The purpose of the deposit is therefore not to charge you simply for visiting or viewing puppies. It is a refundable reservation deposit connected to the appointment and reservation process. If the puppy does not meet your expectations after your visit, or you decide that the puppy is not the right fit for you, the deposit will be refunded according to the agreed terms.
We place a very high value on trust, honesty, and transparency. Our intention is to build a long-term relationship with our clients, not simply complete a transaction. We want you to feel comfortable throughout the entire process and confident that your interests are being respected.

Preparing for Your Puppy
After your reservation is confirmed, we’ll continue caring for your puppy until they are ready to join their forever home. During this time, your puppy will continue receiving proper nutrition, daily socialization, age-appropriate veterinary care, and plenty of love and attention to ensure they’re ready for a smooth transition.
Pickup & Transportation
When your puppy is ready, we’ll work with you to arrange a convenient pickup date. If you’re located farther away, transportation options may also be available depending on your location. Our goal is to ensure your puppy arrives safely and comfortably.
Reservation Changes
If your plans change after placing a reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll discuss the available options and do our best to assist you based on your individual situation and our current reservation policies.
